CompSoc is Edinburgh University's technology society! We're Scotland's best and largest of its kind, and form one of the largest societies within the university. We have an active online chatroom with discussions about tech careers, meetups, and any techy nerdy interests. We are also home to several SIGs (see below). For events, CompSoc frequently has socials and holds talks (inviting industry professionals or academic researchers). Membership is free! We won't be checking them often, but you must have one to vote in elections or run for positions. Tickets are not necessary to attend any of our events, although it would help immensely if you could show interest in EUSA, FaceBook, or Discord to help us prepare for a rough headcount.
